Wednesdays, August 7th, 14th and 21st from 6:00-7:30pm. $20 each session. Class size limit: 10
Each session is hosted by featured artist Kathy Thomas and ideal for new and
experienced artists looking to improve their observational drawing and painting
skills. Bring your own materials or purchase the optional portable watercolor kit (which
includes 12 watercolor pans in a portable metal case, 10 premium watercolor postcards,
travel watercolor brush pen, HB drawing pencil, refillable water brush, .3mm fine-liner,
pencil sharpener, eraser, spray bottle, and a portable storage bag). Participants are
welcome to sketch or paint outdoors in and around the St. Ignace Public Library. Other
optional items to bring could include a portable chair, blanket to sit on, and/or easel. If
adverse weather conditions take place, classes will be moved inside.
